Why Use Safelists...

Hello,

Do you wonder if safelists are really effective?

Here's a very good answer from an experienced Safelist owner.
My thanks to Debbie Penner owner of SimpleSafelist
A member of one of my sites sent me this question
the other day.

"How do these Safelists work to get sign-ups, when
we are all advertising to each other, and all clicking for
credits without reading ads?"

It's an honest question with a lot of serious thought
behind it, and it deserves an honest answer. Here's
what I wrote back.

The safelists are a numbers game. YOU are clicking
for credits without looking at the ads, because you've
already found something that works and you are using
the safelists as an advertising tool, not as a source of
information on business opps. Even so, I bet if you are
honest, you'll admit that now and then an ad catches
your eye, and you stop to see what it's about. If it's a
business opp, you probably just move on, but if it's a
great sounding traffic source, you SHOULD stop to
consider whether it would serve your purposes.

Many others are surfing, half to promote their offer,
which clearly isn't working, and half to find something
that perhaps WILL work. They are the ones you are
targeting. Like I said, it's a numbers game. You send
out 100,000 emails, and will get somewhere between
200 and 1000 hits, depending on your subject line, the
day of the week, etc. etc. Out of those hits, you may
get one or two who will sign up. Keep this up, and you'll
have 10 or more, which is a good number to hope that
one will actively work whatever system you are promoting."

Of course, those numbers are just an arbitrary example.
They will be different for each person, and each offer.
Once you've established your average numbers, you'll
know about what to expect, and will know exactly how
much work you must do to obtain the results you want.

There are a few other reasons I simply love safelists.
Everyone who has created an account already has
something they are promoting, and has taken the
trouble to try promoting on safelists. That means they
have some experience online, so if they do join me,
I won't have to teach them internet basics. Also, they
have taken action to promote something. If they chose
to join me, they won't need me to work so hard to get
them to start working. They are already motivated to do
some work to obtain their goals.

These are the kinds of people I want in my downline.
Even if it's a challenge to get one of them to pay
attention to my offer, it's worth the extra effort in order
to get the right kinds of people.

Another major plus for safelists is that they are
essentially free. Sure I pay a lot to upgrade in each
safelist, but the commissions are high. I only need
one to three paid referrals to make it free for me.

Here's a small secret most people haven't caught on to.
If you really want massive results fast, send out a few
contact solo ads. They aren't free, but they are well
worth the investment. Think about it. Don't you click on
the contact solos first while you are fresh, and still
interested in what you are clicking on? It appears your
audience is doing the same.

Bottom line: don't disparage safelists. They are one of
your most powerful sources of traffic, and if worked
correctly, won't cost you anything. You could get very
wealthy using nothing but safelists. Try logging in to
Simple Safelist and reading THE PLAN. It outlines
how you can accomplish that.

Onward and Upward!
